Have you been meaning to sort out your content for months? This is how you finally do it.

In 30 days you’ll know exactly where you stand, who you’re talking to, and what to create first.

The Problem this Solves

You have a website and you publish occasionally, but you have no clear sense of whether any of it is working, who it’s actually reaching, or what to prioritize next. You’ve been meaning to fix this for a while, but without a clear starting point, it keeps getting pushed back, especially with everything else on your plate.

The Content Foundation gives you that starting point. It’s a thorough, honest audit of everything you have, combined with the foundational strategy documents you need to move forward with confidence, whether you work with Richard afterwards or not.

What’s included:

  • Full content and SEO audit of your existing website
  • Audience definition and messaging positioning
  • Keyword map covering your core topics and opportunities
  • Brand voice and tone guidelines
  • 60-day editorial calendar ready to hand to a writer or use yourself
  • Two calls: discovery at the start, debrief at delivery

$950 CAD · One-time · No monthly contract

Best for:

  • Businesses building a content presence from scratch
  • Businesses preparing for a website redesign who want to know what’s worth keeping
  • Businesses that have been publishing inconsistently and want an honest outside assessment
  • Businesses that want a strategy in place before investing in content production

How It Works

Week 1 — Discovery call: A 45-minute conversation covering your business, your audience, your goals, and what you’ve tried before. This is where Richard learns enough about your business to make the audit meaningful rather than generic.

Weeks 2–3 — Audit and strategy build: Richard reviews your existing content systematically (homepage to buried blog post) against SEO, messaging, and conversion criteria. Simultaneously builds your audience profiles, keyword map, and voice guidelines.

Week 4 — Delivery and debrief: Your complete Foundation package is delivered: audit findings, strategy documents, and a 60-day editorial calendar. A 45-minute debrief call walks through everything and answers your questions.

Common questions

Do I need a big website for this to be useful?
Not at all. A five-page website can have as many content problems as a fifty-page one… and often more, because every page is carrying more weight. The Foundation is particularly useful for smaller sites where each page needs to work hard.

What if I want help acting on what the Foundation produces?
That’s exactly what The Content Sprint is for. It includes everything in the Foundation plus three pieces of produced content and a full 90-day roadmap. Foundation clients receive a discount on the Sprint.

Can I use the deliverables with my own writer?
Yes. The editorial calendar and brief documents are designed to be handed off. Any writer can use them to produce on-brief work without coming back to you for direction.

Do you work with businesses outside Toronto?
Yes. Richard is based in Toronto but works with businesses across Canada and North America remotely. Everything is conducted by video call and email.
